Been making some executive decisions these days, and I realize I wouldn't mind releasing plans of the Cicada testbed motor (what we are using to prove the feasibility of the Daedalus Propulsion Module) to serious enthusiasts that want to experiment with larger than Aerotech Am/EX motors. I just thought I'd get a pole up to see if you wanted access to the designs for a solid-propellant motor (thinking maybe $99 for manual/blueprints/software) that is 12" in diameter and 24" long. Burns AP/R45/Al complete with out-gasser designs, mold specifications, vendor lists/bills of materials, etc. etc.
Stanford Systems Cicada Test-bed Rocket Motor
I still haven't gotten the old Stanford Systems claims out of the way yet (remember to email me at woodystanford@yahoo.com if you still need refunds and I'll add you to the list), but wanted to get a poll out there as to if anyone wanted to build a really, REALLY big motor out there.
Thanks in advance.
